I need to quickly correct an impression:

This review is on a restaurant called Gbegiri Palace. It's a close proximity with just Amala so google map is saying I visited just Amala. I did not.

I ate at Gbegiri Palace. It's suaiated on Afolabi Aina street. Where those bureau de change hang around.

The whole shock for me was the size of Amala and the meat. Auntie was cutting amala as if she wants to catch breeze.

200 naira meat can easily pass for an overpriced 100 naira meet so it was a shocker to learn it was 200 naira each and I already had 3 in my plate before I got the price. I no bother add more.

This whole picture is what 1k meal looked like in that restaurant and I wasn't satisfied at all. Had to go eat fried yam and pomo at a polular road side vendor on Ogundana street Allen.

Before I went to the restaurant I had asked a neighbor of the restaurant if 1k could get me a comfortable meal there and she said Yes. People who direct strangers can actually direct us to hell you know. LoL

Haah! I went back to asked the lady why she did what she did but I met her shop locked. As in, tell people the Truth. Tell the truth. 1k meal in that restaurant will not fill a baby talk less of an adult.

To eat in this restaurant, for a woman 2300. For a man 3000. This is on a moderate level. No much extravagant. Your Amala definitely has to be 1000 naira and above to fill an average eater.

The taste of the food wasn't bad at all I must be honest with you. If you ask me whether I can eat that food again at same restaurant I would say Yes. Just that I have to go with more money.

You all no that cash is the new gold in Nigeria now. I had no cash on me and the banks were not allowing withdrawal. I had to fight, go on facebook live at GTB Allen branch to get a small 5k withdrawal. So I couldn't have spent so much there and it was my first visit too.

Maybe I will go back there and do a 2500 meal, and do another feedback on it.

Medical science versus reality. Permit me to say that I do agree with medical science on a number of things but sometimes some of it claims are way too pompous. A good example are the statement and claims below. Things science say that don't make sense to me. Science says: Every ninety days we have new blood. Why does HIV persist?
